    Hi everyone ,

This is just a quick note for you to pop these dates in your get together diary for 2005

    May 13th

    May 14th

Thats a Friday and a Saturday

These are the dates when we will have Speakeasy 2005 and it will be held at the same venue as last year near Bank Tube station for those that remember :-)

The event was a real success story and as you can imagine with the growth we have had in 2004 , this years event will be even better with a good mix of learning , listening , talking and of course drinking

The ins and outs of the two days will be emailed and posted up nearer the event but for now its just a nudge to make sure people clear their diaries to make room for it as there is so much to attend if you wanted this year we didnt want to leave it to late to put our hand up.

There is a smaller gathering on May the 12th also in London so if your a buy.at affiliate or merchant and your coming down for that then make a few days of it and come and see us at the Speakeasy.

    Thanks

    Mal

    Cool see you there mate

We thought the tie in with the A4u meet was perfect with a lot of people making the trek for that anyway it made sense and vice versa .

It will be a grand do :-)

I'll be there. Probably for all 3 days.

Damn, May is looking h-e-a-v-y for events!!

I'm new to Buy.at so wasn't there last year. Is there any particular hotel that most people are staying in for 'unofficial' networking?

yep started bribing the older kids for babysitting - if that don't work not adverse to threats, if that don't work any creches, kennels, large puddles?

Fully intend getting to this as I missed last year with it being Aintree weekend, looking back at the old thread I see most people stayed at the Travel Inn Tower Bridge, are you planning to stay there again?

Would that be the hotel someone picked out as being very close to the venue which would have been great except it was miles away?

Even my dunk crows from last year took ages to fly to the venue from the hotel

    Hi,

the postcode for the venue is EC3V 3PD, on Cornhill - so that may help with getting close. The City is poorly served for lower-cost hotels (all that banking money pushes the prices up!) so may be worth using the difference for taxi fares?

I'm up for at least one day here, will see how diary fills up nearer the event. Probably would do a4u g2g, then the first day of the buy.at event.
