Vik, Jen Christmas and the sea...

Hi All
Had a loverrrly lunch with young Vik today and we wondered whether we shoud try and get loads of you down to the south coast and sea again before Crimbo. We thought sometime in November, prolly Portsmouth, easy to get to. We normally meet up in a nice bar right in Gunwarf Quay - they do per head buffet (well yummy) food and there are boats to look at lol. Anyone worrying about it being a bit provincial, Tiger Tiger is next door ;-) It's an easy and quick train from London to Portsmouth Harbour and I can have a look at reasonable hotels, a trip for the adventurous to Boondock Island the next day could be fun too (Isle of Wight he eh).
What kind of feedback then?

Come on guys - weekday or weekend? Would a Friday be coolio for guys that work? Thinking about 25th ish Nov. Managed to get Mr Cowley to agree something for the food (God bless ya Mal) and my new merchant is up for doing something on the bar (still not launched though....)

Of course I'd be up for it - given I live about 5 mins from Gunwharf. Only problem is that I'm in Australia for the last 3 weeks of November. This is getting frustrating now, I missed the last lunch and now the knees up. Not good.
