North of England Affiliate Gathering at Firefly, Leeds on 5 July
The affiliate marketing community has often complained about the lack of events ‘up norf’ and so PrimeQ has organised an affiliate get2gether in Leeds on Thursday, 5 July.
It will take place at Firefly which has been called “one of the most stylish and sophisticated venues in Leeds” (Clubzone.com). The trendy city centre lounge/bar/restaurant, with stunning interior schemes, is on the fringes of the financial quarter.
We have booked a large room and it will be an ideal opportunity for people in the industry to get together in an informal atmosphere, chat and enjoy drinks. Appetizers will be provided by PrimeQ and there will be live jazz.
Vincent Montero, PrimeQ's Director of UK Operations, and the network's Community Director will be on hand to answer any questions about the network's exciting new affiliate platform or anything else PQ related.
Everybody is welcome to turn up: affiliates, agencies, merchants, network staff – you can even bring along your mother if you like!
Several people have expressed an interest in coming and if you are planning to attend, let me know by firing off a quick email to nazam AT primeq.co.uk or in this thread just so we can get an idea of the numbers and who to expect.
It's going to be an ideal opportunity to network and have fun, so see you there :-)

Re: North of England Affiliate Gathering at Firefly, Leeds on 5 July
It's a distinct possibility that one or two of us from Redcar might make it later ithe evening - after the birthday tea - the only reservation I've got is - it's a networking event - so why have music - these events are usually extremely noisy with everyone chattering anyway, music simply add to the difficulty of actually hearing anything anyone says - God knows what I've agreed to at past events
and Jazz!!!! - hope the rain stops or I'll be the one outside with the brolly.

It'll be good to see you and/or Dave, or anybody else from up in Redcar.
Don't worry about the music. As you say, loud music does not make it easy to talk and I've made sure the live jazz musicians won't be in the immediate area we've booked - they'll be nearby.
I know what you mean about the rain... I've been in Yorkshire for the last few days and have developed a headache from the neverending patter of rain on the roof. Global warming my foot. I'm freezing and off to build an ark.
