The Affiliate Marketing/Silvertap Team will all be there (mainly at the bar). Would also like confirmation of exactly where the location is to meet at 4PM?!?!

    Morning everyone.

The actual event kicks off at 7pm - head to the @bristol foyer, and signs / staff will direct you to the science area. We have a cider & apple juice reception, You can collect your badge and drink tokens at this time, after 30 minutes or so we will then head upstairs to the Rosalind Franklin Room.

As a lot of people are in town and suggested meeting up earlier, the chosen spot is 'The Pitcher & Piano' which is just around the corner near 'Pero's Bridge' and very close to all suggested hotels (squint and you can see the white pitcher & piano neon sign!) - To get to @Bristol afterwards imagine walking over the bridge, seeing pitcher & piano on the left and walking 2 minutes straight on.

    <img src="http://visitbristol.co.uk/imageresizer/?image=%2Fdbimgs%2Fperos+bridge.JPG&action=Header" >

We'll have a few balloons around, so you'll know where everyone is located.

    Hope that helps,
    Matthew.

So who's going to own up to bumping around on the dodgems at 5am last time you all came to Bristol?

"However, last year’s Bristol event ended with some rather key industry leaders racing on the Dodgems at 5am in the morning, so we’re expecting this one to have a similar relaxed atmosphere – but this time with a real taste of the West thrown in!” "

We'll be there early doors too.

See you at the pitcher + piano at 3ish for 'an audience with Matt Bailey and his credit card'.

I'll be there - first event for a while.

I've even reserved my Harry Potter book to collect from Waterstones in Bristol on Saturday morning - a girl's got to entertain herself on the train home!

Ooh - that sounds like a good plan! Train home is at 10am the next day though, so need to be sure that I get to bed at a reasonable time.

Will be there too - hopefully in around 2/3 depending on who's driving and who's navigating. The JudeJude SatNav system was a bit ropey on directions around Bristol last time round

    See you all there!

Clarke I think I may be on the same flight as you - easyJet at 8.50am?? It means we Matt has lots of cocktails to get in early doors!

I am also staying at the Marriot - I think I might need a lie down mid afternoon - just to cope with the stress of having no battered food... You will be the one getting battered Bailey There are lots of Scots coming along to this event so you better refrain from giving me any more insults!

Good to see such a mixture of newbies and people who have been in the industry for some time (I will refrain from saying 'oldies'!)

Needless to say, I will be making an appearance to pick up my prizes

I'll be picking a few up from Bristol Airport around 2.30pm so if anyone wants to meet up for a few beers then feel free to give me a shout as I am sure we will have found a boozin pad by 3pm

Matt - I look forward to randomly bumping into you again and will have a cocktail for sure....

I'm actually not coming this year - got an insanely massive project that has to be finished by Sunday night so just can't risk being sketchy - gutted.

I was one of the dodgem freaks - the others know who they are

    Have a great time all
