Don't mean to be pedantic Matt, but surely the winner of the Tractor Race is the driver who has the longest tailback of tourists behind him? I've never met a fast tractor driver in my life. Oh, and don't forget all you London types, the "c" in Tractor is silent when in Brizzle.

Got to get me one of them there "proper job" T-shirts innit?

The tracktor race will be about skill and maneuverability, these things go very slow! and you'll need to use reverse a lot!

    There are penalties in place..

    - If you hit an animal add 10 sec’s!
    - If you hit scenery add 5 sec’s!

OK, see a few of the usual suspects (no, we're not oldies) are staying at the Marriott, but there are two in Bristol.

The Marriott Bristol Royal was mentioned on the original event info (and afaik is the one on Frostie's map), but Marriott Bristol City Centre is a little bit more grubby affiliate friendly, and I think quite a bit bigger.

    Who's staying where?

I'm at the Bristol Marriott Royal Hotel in College Green. Hopefully picked the right one!

    Hi all

Getting into Bristols (sorry I just can't resist it) airport at 10.00am so 11.00 sounds good to me! I'm also staying at the Royal Marriott ... anyone want to give me an "Affiliate Marketing" lesson (I'll buy the drinks to keep you lucid)?

Really looking forward to meeting you all but I'm worried this event is just about drinking and games rather than a full on educational event!

    See you all tomorrow.

    1) Err, do true affiliates buy people drinks? I suppose they might do if they've already asked the barman for a free round if they bring 4 friends.

    2) As this hotel has wifi, forget about any worthwhile conversation, unless you can find a way to disable the hotspot.

    3) If point (2) fails, ask Hubertus for some lessons in spilling drinks on people, and hope that he can score a direct hit on any offending lap tops.

Err, worried? This one is strictly a social. I was getting worried for a minute that it might be a full on educational event, rather than being about drinking and games.

Speaking of which, as it is doing to be a very rainy day, and as bike has a couple of technical problems which might keep it out of action, Fiona are we ever going to get that game of Monopoly in? I think @Bristol is the equivalent of Mayfair, so we are clearly not going to be grubby at all this weekend.

Well I've just been out on the lash on Whiteladies Road so will be paying the price tomorrow! :-(

College Green is about 1 minute walk from @Bristol so you got the Best place!

See you all tomorrow - really looking forward to putting names to faces
