We would like to thank all those who attending the a4uEvent last Friday in Bristol, especially as many traveled for 8hr plus in the terrible weather conditions! Also thank you to all those who registered but were unable to attend due to the weather, we appreciate your attempts at making it!

We would also like to thank our sponsors who all managed to make it to Bristol in the end, after battling through train delays/cancellations and the terrible traffic on the motorway. All three sponsors, buy.at, Affiliate Window and Yahoo!, provided some excellent competition prizes, so thank you again!

The evening started with a traditional West Country drink of Cider or Apple Juice while exploring the science exhibition at the Explore centre before heading upstairs.

Due to the rain, the food wasn’t cooked on a BBQ, some last minute improvisation was needed, although you would never have known! 

Attendees were entertained by a range of West Country themed games including Tractor Racing and cider apple bobbing. A number of attendees battled it out to be crowned table football champion sponsored by Prezzybox, in the end the title went to Jason and Jude, well done

Thank you to comet, buyagift.com and I Want One Of Thosefor providing some excellent prizes for this event and well done to all the winners!

The Suspects, a local Bristol band provided some great music and even allowed a few extra backing singers to join them on stage 

A selection of photos from Friday’s event are available at a4uEvents and take a look at Fraser’s excellent interpretation of the day.

    Kind Regards

You could tell that is wasn't a BBQ because nothing was burnt

An excellent event though - thanks to all the team at Existem for organising it.
