Online finance is doing well, and affiliate marketing is delivering a fair share of online sales.
On behalf of buy.at, I would like to invite you to a
finance online marketing event to be held from
6pm on Wednesday 16th April in central London.
The event will take the form of a seminar with panel discussion with industry leaders in the financial sector, followed by networking.
The seminar, titled
"Financing your future – What affiliate marketing can offer the finance sector in 2008", will cover the following topics with the panellists:
-What do you think will be the major changes in the financial sector in the next 12 months?
-How will the credit crunch affect the current finance market?
-Has it changed your process for vetting customers? – for merchants
-Has it changed the way you promote financial merchants? – for affiliates
-Also, as affiliate marketing is seen as one of the most cost effective marketing channels, how will finance programmes attitude to the benefit of affiliate’s change at times of credit crunch?
-For Insurance, aggregators like moneysupermarket are now clearly the main volume providers through the online channel, how do you see affiliates fitting into this environment when so much of the traffic is being delivered by a handful of sites?
-Has the increasing ease with which customers can compare and rate different products had a negative impact on retention rates, as its much easier for existing customers to find a cheaper deal? If so how do you plan to address this issue?
-How should affiliates be approaching the FSA and what steps are you taking to make sure you’re able to be in compliance with their standards?
-Would you ever use affiliates as part of your retention strategy, i.e. paying them at renewal?
-Do you think affiliates could have a part to play in merchant cross sell, especially affiliates with their own database of customers?
