I used to drink in the Fence daily in my previous job, its not the cheapest place but the food is amazing, and the range of drinks is quite extensive! The outside area is lovely! I'll be there with bells on!!!

Quick bump to this thread - I need some more affiliates to express an interest in this as I'd like to have a 50/50 affiliate/non affiliate split of attendees. So I'm looking for about 80 more affiliates to contact me. Obviously we all need to know whether it's worthwhile to host this at not inconsiderable expense to the networks involved.

I have funding and commitment from 11 networks now which is fantastic; that should pay for some food and a healthy bar tab.

Depending on which merchants and networks will be there, I would be tempted to make a special train trip down and throw myself into a local YMCA to keep the costs down :tup

Just seen the dates being bounced aronud. Sadly as its yet another midweek date I wont be attending. :td

Maybe next time something could be organised for a Friday? I appreciate there maybe budget reasons for booking midweek eventsm but they do sometimes alienate part-time affiliates. On top of travel and accomodation expenses, we have to take holidays in order to attend events. Sadly midweek means 2 days holidays are required, whereas a Friday would mean I could travel back home on a Saturday.
