I know we've just had the A4U Awards in London but as there's not a chance for affiliates to collectively meet in the capital until October I wondered whether there was the appetite for an informal pub meet?
Matt's arranging regional meets over the next few months but I've provisionally spoken to a number of networks and we're all keen to throw a bit of money behind a bar and let any affiliates (large or small) come along to something in London. There are logistical issues to sort out so we'd need to know whether it's worth doing and whether we can arrange something in time (realistically we're looking at the end of this month).
It wouldn't be formal and there wouldn't be sponsors, just an excuse for everyone to come together in the style of the old A4U pub meets.
What do you think?
Cheers,

The A4u Awards were great but it would be nice to have the chance to just sit down and talk to some other affiliates, espcially in non-formal/comfortable attire
Might be nice to tie it on to the end of the Online Marketing Show.
Good idea. The domainers had a meeting on the evening of Internet World and had best attendance to date, as lots of people from outside London happened to be in the capital anyway for the exhibition.
Not sure if I can go grubby again after the A4U Awards. Can we wear a dinner jacket and bow tie again?
