Hi,

Hope everyone is well and raring to go tonight.

Just to reiterate points already made:

1, Please only turn up if you have registered yourself and/or a colleague. We will be strict (or at least Jess will).
2, Proceedings get started at 5.30 so come along as soon as you can.
3, There will be a £1 charity donation payable on entry going to those lovely people at Comic Relief
4, The first 50 of you who turn up wearing an item of red clothing will be entitled to a free cocktail devised by the kind people at 19:20. A further £1 donation will go to Comic Relief for every cocktail sold.
5, The venue may become a little cramped due to the huge interest in the evening. It's not a massive bar and as we're keeping a couple of the pool tables you may find it a bit of a squeeze. There are two pubs pretty much opposite the venue so you may want to escape the throng there. Please be aware we do have a minimum spend behind the bar though and these pubs won't have a tab!
6, The venue has quite discreet signage - we'll endeavour to get a board outside directing you. FYI there are large black canopies covering a handful of benches outside.
7, Remember to say thank you to Affiliate Programme Advice, Clash Media, Vodafone, Red Letter Days and Carrentals.co.uk who are all chipping in with some cash behind the bar.
8, Red Letter Days will also be offering a little incentive on the night as mentioned above. I'm sure they'd love to have a chat about all the exciting things they're currently up to.
9, There will be some food but don't expect a feast. One disappointed attendee from July '08 used the lack of food last time as a reason for not wanting to attend this time around so I don't want any glum faces if you miss out.
10, The venue has two bars - a tiny one as you go in and much larger one downstairs. Please make your way downstairs rather than crowd the entrance.
11, You'll each be given a colour coded name badge so people can identify what area of the industry you work in. This will however require you to write your name with a pen - we thought we'd go old school.
12, Finally if you've not attended an affiliate event before then take the plunge and speak to people randomly. You never know what beautiful relationship may blossom.
