A few years ago we were asked by shopping.com to develop a price comparison script which we then sold at £49.99, after constant problems with shopping.com changing their api we took the script off sale, we have fixed most problems apart from when the price is 'narrowed by' it fails to fetch the last result.

Due to this we have decided to make it live again but give it away for free, it maybe a simple fix but not got time to look into the latest problem but you are welcome to download and use it as you wish.

If anyone has the time to fix it we would be grateful for a fixed version which we will still use as a free download.

Just a quick update on this... it appears shopping.cm have once again changed something drastic with the API without warning and so now the script is scrap :-(


When we get time we will bring it back to life, but for the time being it will have to stay as it is.

It also appears amazon are going to do some drastic changes in a couple of weeks with their API so we are going to have to upgrade that script now! arghhh.

Just to let you know that it appears that the old API seems to have stopped working a few days ago, just as my income was starting to go up a bit!

There is a distinct lack of shopping.com API scrpts out there as far as I can see as I have only found a couple.

Any plans to bring this back to life or is it now dead?

I'll take a look at their new API and pass it on to see if Vince will consider writing a new one.

The problems were the API kept changing on many occasions, and it was a lot of messing around with affiliates having to sign a contract before they could get use of the API which cut down our chance of sales of the script a hell of a lot.
