If you look at a lot of merchant sites there names do not relate to the products they sell.
You just need to identify the main keywords and then do seo on the homepage around the keywords you have picked etc. Has worked for me in the past.
I am looking for a .com domain to purchase for a specific item. Having researched it on google keywords, I have spent hours trying all sorts of combos, from the obvious to the obscure, but everything I look at has been snapped up - the majority for sale![]()
It seems impossible to find a domain with "bluewidgets" in the name. So, how about if I go totally away and, say, have a "brand" type name that I make up? I like the sound of the product in a different language but will that be too difficult to get good ranking in Google? It is a competitive market.
