Online dating affiliate advice for whitelabeldating.com

Hi guys,

I'm currently looking into setting up an online dating white label program for a popular UK site, using whitelabeldating.com.

The website currently runs FriendFinder.com ads which seem to be working reasonably well, but they are keen to use a white label site to focus more heavily on improving conversion rates.

Before switching to a new partner they want to be reassured about the payout schemes and earning potential, so I wondered if anyone has experience in using whitelabeldating.com?

I know that several large companies have dropped their services, like Bauer Media and many of them have started using World Dating Partners as a result of telling customers that they can niche, which they obviously can't.

They claim to have a hign conversion rate as well, but when their payments for membership is so low, this is not suprising.
Generally they bow down to the technical superiority of Datech (World Dating Partners) who are generally know as the professional solution. Of course i would say this as I am the owner, but i guess there is nothing like testing to find out the truth and reality.

I know that 3 out of 5 of their top partners are transferring to our own system, so it may be a good idea to get a second opinion from one of WDP's customers, I am sure they are happy to oblige.

I have found it hard going with WLD, just using PPC as dating is a new niche for me so had no organic traffic. I'm six months in and still finding it tough to make a profit.

Also their rev shares are not quite what it says on the tin.

On the plus side the partner support is excellent but not having a background in dating sites I can't workout if our site is just under performing or typical. A lot of big spenders are using the platform so they must be doing something I ain't is my gut feeling, or they are preferred partners and have a sweeter deal.

How do the other platforms compare, they all say they are the best, often you can't tell the PR from the reality. An alternate platform that offers 80-100% revshare on new business is no good either if the conversions are poor.

Hi Chris,

It is hard to penetrate the parket on PPC only with a general dating website. We find that our smaller partners who have white label dating websites with us tend to bid on niche markets. Although the market potential is smaller, the retention rate, price you can charge and conversions are much greater. Once you have builty a few good niches you can then launch a general site and cross promote. That is certainly what I would recomend.
