2x Amazon Associate accounts possible?

Hi all,

I need to know whether its possible to have two Amazon associate accounts, i really want to be promoting low value items on the Performance scale and high value electronics on the set 4% rate so im not capped at £7. To do this I'd need two accounts, is it allowed?

Yes it definitely is. We have 2 UK accounts for the very same reasons you just outlined.

Thanks for your response, it seems strange they would allow two accounts but not let you have a performance scale for some items and classic scale for others in the just one account. Do they allow two different accounts using the same name / address etc?

Yes. Same name, same bank account details and address. Wish I could explain why this is the only way but it's definitely allowed. IMO Amazon's affiliate programme is really showing its age in terms of reporting, accessibility and international payments. On the other hand it's a great performer, don't look a gift horse in the mouth and all that.
I'd like to think they're working behind the scenes to improve it but I don't see anything changing any time soon.
