    Hi,

I have a problem I am building a quiet advanced site for the firts time in my life, so this might be a really obvious question.. and when i try and publish my site it tells me the following:-

"The specified site location does not support image resizing. GD library version 2.0.1 or above must be installed at the target server. Please contact the server administrator"

I am hosted with heart, do i get them to install this? or do i ahev to do this somehow?

    Help please :cry

Are you using a dedicated server or a resellers account?

Either way it would be best to try and get Heart to install it as its quite a complex task if your not used to using the command line. You will have more of a chance though if your using a dedicated box.

Hi, I have a reseller account with heart, and I use GD (v2.0.34) without any problems on some of my sites. I take it that error is not a php generated error but from your script?

When their tech guy comes back on Monday?

They are joking right? If not you need to ask them if there is at least a tech to maintain the servers over the weekend, bit dodgy otherwise.

No joke this is the exact reply that i got...

    Thank you for your patience.

I have spoken to our System Administrator regarding this, it appears that we will need to update the GDLibrary on our Windows Servers, this will need to be done by one of our technicans who are not currently in the office.

I anticipate that this work will be done on Monday, if you re-open the ticket then we will be able to provide you with a further update.

I was a bit annoyed by this as well to be perfectly honest!!
