What would be the best domain name -
www . bluewidgets .org.uk
or www . blue-widgets .co.uk
I am a newbie to all this seo and affiliate marketing so your help is much appreciated.
domainname.co.uk
domainname.org.uk
domain-name.co.uk
domain-name.org.uk

rob.co.uk (05-07-09)
Doesn't .org mean your more of an organisation that an company ?
same as above
get the .com if you can, a lot of people type .com as thats the easiest extension for them to remember...![]()
The www . keyword1-keyword2 . com
Is available but the target is just for UK
I guess my main concern was about the hypen in the domain.
The keyphrase has 49,000 unique searches per month and their doesn't seem to be much competion. the keyword1keyword2.com and keyword1keyword2.co.uk have both been registered but are not live. so to narrow it down, do I go for -
keyword1-keyword2.com
keyword1-keyword2.co.uk
or keyword1keyword2.org.uk
might be a simple question, but I am still learning![]()
If its a UK market, I would register and build a site on:
keyword1keyword2.org.uk
Additionally, if you have time to build another site with unique content, register:
keyword1-keyword2.co.uk.
The other thing you could try is negotiate to buy the keyword1keyword2.co.uk from its owners, as this is the ideal choice.
"...The keyphrase has 49,000 unique searches per month..."
If you mean using the Google Adwords Tool, you selected 'Phrase' from the 'Match Type' drop down box, then you may get a more accurate result using the 'Exact' Match Type.
Hope this helps a bit.![]()
