This place is starting to look like a joke. In the last few days I've seen, amongst others..

- One lead for sale. ONE!
- 200 leads, two days old, please buy them before they're worthless
- At least 100 posts offering a "fantastic" back end for leads
- A similar number offering data/call centre/web generated/surveys in an airport/woman in street who dropped her purse (I might have made that one up

)

Not to mention the countless great new offers from XYZ merchant I've never heard of offering 2 for 1 5% discount last day of sale buy before they go off hurry hurry hurry rubbish.

This is NOT E-Bay. What on earth is wrong with these people?

It's supposed to be a forum for professional established affiliates and people who want to become affiliates.

If you run a network, you'll have the email addresses of all your affiliates in your system. Use that. Not this.

If you're some idiot in a shed trying to become a data broker, get a job.

If you're a webmaster who wants to sell leads or make sales for decent merchants, join a network or several and good luck with it. We'll even help you over at the school for free.

But PLEASE, knock it off on here. It's like trying to find needles in a haystack of poo these days.

An odd occasion, but not very often. I could publish my email inbox and it would look a lot like this forum at times.

When i joined the Forum 3 years back there was more of a community feel about the place, people seemed more willing to offer constructive advice. These days it can be difficult to get a relevant response to a thread, or even get a responder to actualy read the thread properly before posting.

I had the 1 Lead..

And the story behind it is.. It was a client of mine that i did business with..

When the Life Company took the money out of her account it took her over the limit and as such gave her a banking charge..

I was simply looking to get this client her money back as i felt slightly guilty..

I was not trying to sell 1 lead.. Just offering it to a Solicitor.. and was not looking to sell leads again really not as i used to..

and guess what I got a call from that post..

Who was it........... An Indian Call centre looking for me to sell them leads.. lol.. when all i had was a client to place..

I agree with what you’re saying but it’s a slightly different scenario than you have implied..

Not only is it ridiculous trying to sell one lead at a time, regardless of the circumstances, but it is even more silly that the only interest was from an Indian Call Centre. As I've said many times before, the days of being able to do any proper business on here are long gone.

Michael you are a lead seller or network which ever you want to call yourself the fact of the matter is you buy and sell leads..

I am a Financially Regulated Broker.. NOT a lead seller i was not trying to sell a lead so much as to network with someone who could have helped my client..

Man, what a bonanza for us affiliates, imagine the money we're gonna make now! Usually it's only the unknown brands that make such great offers.
