Sounds like the Affiliate Challenge a couple of years ago, which was a really great concept that the person who created it got a bit bored with and gave up on.
Good luck with the challenge - look forward to seeing the updates.
In recognition of the infamous My first speculative niche site blog - posted by TheBoyMictchell. Myself and another A4u member (lazypages - learn affiliate marketing) have decided to conduct a wee competition ourselves. We have chosen a niche and will be developing a site to see who can produce the most amount of sales based upon our differing SEO skills/expertise.

Yeah - Although, its nice to work against a fellow A4U member, adds that bit of extra drive and competative edge.
The Affiliate world, can be a lonely one. Hence why this forum is soo popular I suppose
This idea aside, you will often find the sites your are competing with in the general affiliate landscape belong to people on this forum.
Sounds like a good idea, and as you say, good for that additional surge of motivation!
Will be watching closely![]()

Are we promoting a single merchant? I don't know much about Oak related furniture?
Is this comp open to anyone? I fancy a flutter :tup
The reason why we choose "oak related furniture", as its something that both of us have little knowledge/experience in. So it's a fairly even playing field as such.
Yeah, anyone can join in and share their experiences, aslong as they follow the same "rules of engagement" as set out above. It'll be interesting to see how we all fair.
Can admin create a "sticky post" so that all the websites/owners taking part can be listed.
Be kinda cool as people can keep tabs on em and see the different techniques being used.
I'll take part :tup
A "sticky post" would be great! - can that be done?
To keep things fair - Domain names should be announced on the 1st of Nov. So that gives you just over a week to put your thinking caps on.
On the 1st Nov, post your domain url, in this thread - It'll be interesting to see what angles people will be coming from.
Does it have to be a single product? Can you just has one type of furniture? Like chairs? Lots of different chairs but only chairs like.
Yep - thats the rulez bro.
Theres plenty of oak stuff... chairs, tables, desks, mirrors, drawers, beds, e.t.c
Oak Dining table and chairs, as one product would be okay, if you wanna go down that route.
If you went for chairs, you could promote an assortment of different types of chairs, with different oak finishes and styles. Or you could go really really niche, and just create a site that concentrates on one kind of oak finish chair. You could possibly get a more directed domain name. Sup to you
Got ya stumped already?ha!
Thats cool, so say i choose beds. I can have a variety of different types of bed, all made of oak but nothing else... sweet!
God damn it im trying to get my manchester parking site sorted and you give me other things to do )-: ha ha!
