Hi all,

We have got some fantastic news on the Argos programme. After some rigorous testing with a number of trial partners, we are pleased to announce that Argos can now offer a brand new first class feed with a range of new and useful features!

Argos has teamed up with FusePump, a leading feed technology company and partner of Commission Junction to offer you a brand new feed which should help drive up conversion rates and sales.

The feed is very easy to use and fully customisable to suit your needs. You can split the feed into manageable chunks depending on the products and categories you wish to promote.

Here are some of the highlights from the new feed:

1. Addition of Manufacturer Brands
2. Additional Product Features
3. Better Pricing Structure
4. Improved Promotional Messaging
5. Product Alternatives
6. Customer Reviews

Our test partners have already seen some real benefits from implementing the new feed including:

1. Better Product Match Rates
2. Improved Conversion Rates
3. Sales Growth

How can you get the feed?

All you need to do to get the new feed is log into your CJ account and go into the Argos SmartLink section and just follow the follow these simple steps:

Step 1- Create a new feed configuration
Step 2 - Select your products/categories
Step 3 - Select Output Format – CSV or XML
Step 4 - Download feed or copy URL

Please make sure you are using the correct Ad ID (10697412) for this feed in your links so that we can track that the sale was made using the feed.

The feed is updated daily when Argos refreshes the prices and content on the website. Currently the feed contains all 24,000 Argos products through the FusePump feed.

what does this mean?

is it included in the feed or not? Surely you just download the feed and that's it - or that's the way it should be at least

You are correct. You should just download the feed and use it.

However, we have experienced some affiliates downloading feeds and then changing the advertiser id contained within the links. This makes it impossible for us to track sales generated off the feeds and hence makes sales commissions less easy to validate.
