Just had 2 emails with a virus in was the "W32.Sobig.F@mm"

the emails were on spoofed headers one was from IBG.co.uk and the other with an affiliate manager's name in the header, obviously they didn't send them, the virus usually takes email addresses and makes a sender email address up from the address book and then sends itself.

Just make sure your antivirus is up to date boys n girls cos someone in the affiliate arena is infected.

one tip if u are not antivirus enabled is to create an email address in your address book with no @ in it so it can't send.. you should get an "unable to send" message if u get infected and it mails everyone in your address book..altho it too late then lol..

They do seem to stop pretty quickly, so i wouldn't panic. I'm not getting anymore.

I think I've worked out why I've had none since 3pm - my POP3 server is offline

I guess anyone who uses Xcalibre is in the same boat!

I got about 20 of these mails (mostly from pete ) but they seem to have stopped now.

Anyone else noticed a slowdown on BT broadband for most of today ?
