New Residual Customer Base Income - Natural Instinct

Just to let you know Natural Instinct has upgraded their program to use the Paid On Results customer base feature. What this means is that when you send a customer to Natural Instinct and they buy something or sign-up for a competition or open a wish list account that the customer is automatically tagged to you, so all future sales without a cookie are still credited to you.

Commission is 15% and cookie is set at 999 days.

It’s the first program (2nd Customer Based Program on Paid On Results) of its type to appear on any network offering this kind of customer base set-up for affiliates. I will have 1 more merchants to announce who is also going to be offering customer base opportunities shortly.

The Messiah has come! C'est la guerre! This a head-on attack on the established networks and merchants who try to fob off affiliates with one-off payments of 50p on the sale of a product while their own advertising staff wouldn't get out of bed for less than a £100 a day.

Whenever I mention how little commission affiliates receive to friends outside the industry, they think I am a total shmuck and have no self-respect for allowing merchants to rip me off with such measily rates. Worst still, many of these merchants, some of whom we have generated hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of sales for can't even be bothered to return our emails or pay us on time - that's how much they value us.

Natural Instinct is not our kind of store, but can't wait Clarke to see what the next one will be. Could finally be ditching one of the other networks if you keep rolling...

We're really looking forward to seeing how well this works. It should really come into it's own when used by competition and freebie sites because the users won't necessarily buy while surfing but will get our christmas and valentines newsletters and we're expecting big sales around those times.

Well the merchant that is next works very well for the affiliates currently promoting it, they don’t have a main stream product however I have already noticed return sales on the cookie alone, with one person buying 3 of the in the space of a week.

The true effect of this merchant’s customer base will come from the present buying seasons and also the fact they keep in regular monthly contact with customers and newsletter subscribers.

At end of the day any merchant who can introduce a customer base program is a positive step but I do accept that some products and stores will be so much more effective with customer base set-ups, it just be a matter of time before an established player in these crowed markets comes forward and starts using customer base, otherwise a new kid on the block might just pip them to the post and take all the affiliate traffic.
