I am looking for some unbiased advice (and some biased advice if you like!) on starting an affiliate program on a pay-for-lead business model.

Situation:-
I am a newbie to all this affiliate marketing and have recently started my own independant website called (look at the my username/sorry regret that now looks a cheesy username but can't change it). It enables people to signup (or simply use their current ids) to/for the best 4 Affiliate Networks (listed on this forum) and thus use their given 'jigsaw' referral link, to change the whole portal to their own affiliate links/shopping portal.

Its quite a nice idea I thought, similar to linkshare, but I'm not getting any signups on a passive basis. (Just upload and wish )
(If anybody has any tips on why my program does not get any signups, please enlighten me- maybe my signup pages are to confusing or something)

Question:-
I want to promote the site using, perhaps, clixgalore as it seems to be the cheapest startup.
1.) Does anybody have any knowledge of the UK userbase of clixgalore and are they 'anygood'?
2.) Is it worth investing?
3.) Does anybody think I'm wasting my time? (as most webmesters seem to be able to make their own websites)
