I've had quite a few queries via email regarding this program so far, has anybody got anything else specific they would like me to answer on the forum? Particularly relating to the £33 CPA for broadband sales.

There have been one of two posts lately regarding the Tiscali Network scheme and it’s good and bad points. I thought I’d post my own comments regarding this program as I’ve been testing it now for nearly 4 weeks.
The reason why I initially joined up is that I do quite well with Tiscali Broadband sales on 3 of my sites, and was earning £10 per signup via DGM2. There was also a bonus of £100 for every 50 sales from Tiscali too. However, I had heard that you could earn £100 for every 3 broadband customers you sign up via the Tiscali Network. Naturally the first thing I did was to ask DGM2 if Tiscali would match this, the short answer was “no”. Feeling a bit frustrated at this point I joined the Tiscali Network as a “Referral Associate” to see if I could earn more that way.
There are two ways to join the Tiscali Network, the first is a “Referral Associate” which costs £4.99 to join and enables you to earn £100 for every 3 broadband customers. You earn no residual commission and can not earn commission on any other ISP services such as PAYG. The second way is to join as an “Independent Business Advisor” which costs £199 and means you earn commission on all Tiscali products and also have the opportunity to earn residual commission too. But in order to qualify for residual commission you have to recruit 3 more IBA’s who in turn earn at least 6 points each, i.e. sign up 2 broadband customers.
In the 4 weeks I have been trialling it now I have signed up 64 customers and earned £2,133 (£2,100 really as they only pay out for every 3 customers). If I were on DGM2 I would have earned £640 and a £100 bonus = £740. More importantly though; I have not seen a significant dip in conversion rates. Unfortunately you can not track clicks through the Tiscali Network, but I estimate that the conversion rate is roughly 10% lower than it is on DGM2. I put this down to the landing page, which is different on the Tiscali Network and shows all ISP products including dial-up and PAYG. However, even accounting for a 10% downturn in conversion rates I am still far, far better off on the Tiscali Network.
Seeing the opportunity to earn residual commission I have now paid £199 and upgraded to a “ Independent Business Advisor” So if I sign up 3 IBA’s (Independent Business Advisors) under me and they in turn earn 6 points (2 broadband customers) then I will earn residual commission on the lifetime of my customers. The commission isn’t massive, it’s 0.75% of my customers monthly spend, but it’s better than nothing. I will also earn 0.75% of the monthly spend of the customers whom my 3 IBA’s underneath me earn too, I haven’t looked into this but in much detail but I’m sure I will earn residual commission for 7 levels below me. So if you add all of this together then it’s quite an attractive long-term proposition.
Which brings me to the purpose of my post. If there is anybody out there who currently does well with Broadband programs then please get in touch and between us we can work out if it’s better for you to join the Tiscali Network scheme. It means you have to pay £199 to join and it also means that for the first 10 broadband customers that you sign up you do not earn any commission, so in effect you “lose” £333. I’m not sure why Tiscali do this but there you go. The good news is that if you earn 20 points (6.6 broadband customers) within the first 90 days you get your £199 fee back. Can I suggest that this is only a viable option to affiliates if they are capable at the very least of generating 7 Tiscali Broadband customers in 90 days, otherwise you are probably better off staying with DGM2.
So either email me at info@ukoffer.com for more info or visit my site here and click on the “register as a business associate” or “register as a referral associate” on the top right of the page.
BTW Matt has vetted this post as I don't want to be accused of spamming!

Interesting that Tiscali could be the company to turn the cynical sceptical British public (including most of this board) onto Network 'isn't that pyramid selling?' Marketing. Certainly I've had an incredible response from promoting the £199 business opportunity, and what tips the balance for most people is that they've heard of the company and respect their products. If like me you're also marketing stuff in Germany you might get a bit excited to know that they're opening there soon following closely after by Spain. Think of all those business trips you could make....
ps. you don't want to go with anyone else you want to go with me me me
I've just received some spam from a Tiscali affiliate trying to promote this "business opportunity".
While I have no doubt that some people will make money honestly, this type of scheme does seem to attract a large number of spammers.
Be interesting to see how they react to my spam report.
Hope they kick them off, it's an excellent programme. Shame about all the mlm crap.
If anyone does fancy having a go and promoting it and doesn't fancy the £199 then let me know, i may have a plan if you've got the traffic!! Don't worry Kieron will benefit too!

Jeff is right, these sort of things do attract spammers. I've had telephone calls and emails from Tiscali IBA's trying to recruit me under them! They haven't even took the time to check my links to see if I'm already joined!
Cheers!

Does anyone offer a "white label" broadband package - I've just had someone who has 12,000 outlets up and down the country wanting to offer a "broadband" freebie for his customers - which is potentially a lot of people!
There are quite a few broadband VISP's out there. Unfortuantely none of them are as competitive as the big broadband suppliers out there. Plus the charge you for setting up the white label site. Or at the very least deduct the setup fee from your commissions if you make any!Originally Posted by joan
Not sure what you mean by "broadband freebie" tho?
Cheers!

I know this is bringing back up an old threda but saves starting a new one.
Does anyone know on the tiscali network if payments include VAT or not?
Unsure if the £75 for 3 sales includes VAT or if they should be paying extra. I've tried contacting Tiscali but had no luck
Also, is there anywhere to get simple invoices as I've never spotted them when looking in the account area.
Cheers
Wardy
Simply tell Tiscali that you are VAT registered then they will pay you £75 plus VAT. As for invoices I use the weekly commission statements.
