    Hi,

I currently have a dedicated server from rackshack and am looking for somebody to share the costs with as my site uses such little resources and bandwidth.

Currently I and a friend from work share it but I’m looking for a third person to cover the costs.

The server comes with 600gig of bandwidth and you can use pretty much as much as need, it has ensim installed so you will get a full control panel. You can host as many websites as you like, I can't give you root access but I am happy to install most things, you can use ssh, telnet, php, perl, mysql, as much disk space as like you etc. The only things I ask is that your sites do not effect my own or my friends sites in terms of resource usage.

Although I work for a hosting company this is my own personal server for my affiliate sites, this would be a gentleman’s agreement nothing more.

I have had this server almost a year and had next to no downtime with it but I make no guarantees.

If anybody is interest feel free to post here or pm me!

    Thanks!
    John

    In addition to the above

I'm offering the share in the server for £25 per month, the server specs are below.

    Red Hat Linux 7.3
    Ensim
    700GB Monthly Transfer
    512MB
    60 GB Hard Drive / 7200 rpm
    1.3GIG processor

Currently I'm using around 3gig of transfer per month and around 400mb of disk space.

You can use as much data transfer and diskspace as you wish and host as many sites as you like.

    All i ask is that-

    1. Your sites do not effect my own in terms of resource usage such as
memory, cpu time, mysql usage etc
    2. You know what your doing (I can't provide any real tech support but am
happy to help out where I can)
    3. You stay within rackshacks own rules ie no spam, porn etc
    4. You won't ask for root access (I will provide ssh and telnet access)
    5. You pay on time
    6. That you understand I am in no way responsible for your data
    7. That you understand that I make no uptime guarantees
    8. You have a friendly, helpful attitude

This is the resource usage taken from top at around peak time -

    1:25pm up 353 days, 15:18, 1 user, load average: 0.21, 0.05, 0.01
    105 processes: 104 sleeping, 1 running, 0 zombie, 0 stopped
CPU states: 0.3% user, 1.3% system, 0.0% nice, 98.2% idle
    Mem: 504792K av, 480412K used, 24380K free, 1068K shrd, 132916K
    buff
    Swap: 1020116K av, 205724K used, 814392K free 155840K
    cached
