Web Host Down Time!

What is everyone's worst down time experience with their web host?

Mine has now been down for 4 hours and I am starting to feel nervous..... Phone is engaged and no answer of emails. Normally the service is fantastic. I have been with this host for a few years now.

Phew, back up! Nearly died of a heart attack!!!!!!

The host is in the States. Don't really want to say who it is as it's only a small set up.

Four hours - pah! - our sites were down for 11 hours a month or so ago due to a massive denial of service attack against our hosting co - nervous - I think I eat my way through my fingernails and the carpet - no wonder the cat made a bolt for the door!!

One of my sites was down for around 7 hours overnight. This was also hosted in the US - by a company who use Alabanza in Baltimore.
Apparently there was a small fire at the datacentre, and the electricity company made them turn the power off.
