    Read yesterday that Microsoft want to do to Google what they did to Netscape (ie push them out of the way)/. Apparently they will incorporate their own search engine into IE browsers , so that everyone has to use MSN and looksmart to get listed, and relegate google to the sidelines. Should be some interesting court cases against MS ahead if they try that!

    i think it's going to be built into windows, not IE.

    The new version of windows is codenamed longhorn and you can read some pretty interesting stuff about it here (if that kind of thing interests you)....

    ah, you could be right as I remember a reference to Longhorn. I guess it won't be coming for a while yet.
