As far as I know, amazon don't pay anything for auction items, marketplace items or zshops items, basically, because they're not amazons products.

Product Links: You may select one or more Products to list on your site. A "Product" is any product listed on our site under the Books, Music, Video, DVD, Software, PC & Video Games, Electronics & Photo, Kitchen & Home, Toys & Kids! and Gifts tabs, and (subject to the following) any other product tab(s) added to the site from time to time, but does not include any product or products located in any other part of our site or any product or products not fulfilled by us (including, without limitation, such products which are located under a product tab or found through our Market Place, Auctions or zShops services, through one of our Trusted Partners or through any "electronic storefronts" operated by third party merchants on our site). For each selected Product, you will display on your site a short description, review, or other reference. You will be responsible for the content, style and placement of these references. You will provide a Special Link (as defined below) from each Product reference on your site to the corresponding Amazon.co.uk online catalogue entry. Each link will connect directly to a single item in our online catalogue. You may add or delete Products (and related links) from your site at any time without our approval. Those books (but not other types of Products) that are individually listed and linked as described above are referred to as "Individually Linked Books". You may not list products on your site that are not "Products" as defined above.
    From Amazon Operating Agreement

In fact, from the above, you're not even allowed to show these products on your site!

The 2.5% applies for Amazon US - they even have a separate column on the report for marketplace sales.

ps on a similar note do Non Media Items include videogames - just thinking about the tiered structure, might be worth going for this Q

Yep the non media items do include video games (everything except Books, CDs, DVDs and Videos).

The way the tiers are this quarter I don't think anyone has got anything to lose by going for the tiered. As long as you can sell 1 non-media item then you will be no worse off.

I made it to the 20% bonus level last quarter and I'm hoping with the levels this time to do even better.

    Looks like they have done.

I had a whole load of items showing a quantity of 0 on items ordered. Some of them then appeared in the items dispatched report with a comm rate of 2.5%
