Don't like the logo and there is a huge white gap at the bottom of the page. I dont like the font of the left hand navigation menu. A mouseover effect would look much better.
Does this have anything to do with Mystiblue Computing?
Hiya guys and girls,
I am updating my site. Any advice or suggestion welcome.

hiya thank you very much. Yes I know there is a huge white gap at the bottom of the page. I am still working. So the list will go further to the bottom. Do you think Verdana or Times new Roman will work for left menu?
Thank you for your reply.
Would you mind to first few pages:
arts and crafts, books, business clothings, computing and jewellery.
Bear in mind, my site under considaration. I am still working.

I kind of get the impression though that this site isn't based in the UK.

I just don't get the site.
It seems to just be a few pages full of affiliate links to various companies with a little adsense thrown into the mix to make it look worse.
Who are you actually trying to target with this site?
Not meaning to sound harsh but the site serves no actual purpose and has nothing of any value whatsoever.
Layout of the arts & crafts page is a lot better than the home page but still, nothing useful on there, just a list of affiliate links.
The combination of main page affiliate links, google search bar, top adsense, sidebar adsense, sidebar affiliate links, chikita ads, ebay and bizrate ads just smacks of pure desparation. Its as if your screaming "Click on something... anything... or my children will starve".
You really need to pick a target audience and a reason for people to visit.
Honest opinion is that most of the site looks amateurish -
- Too many different fonts, plus some poor choices - comic sans
- Poor logo
- Some sections have a different design - no consistency
- Why .com when the site is for a UK audience and .co.uk is still available
- Doesn't seem to be much unique content
- Broken images, overlapping text (firefox), empty pages
- Doesn't feel like a UK based site
Blog looks okay but none of the content is original?
I think you have to question whether the amount of time needed to get this site up to scratch will ever be repaid financially?
Sorry to be so negative, but you did ask.
It is shopping Directory. I don't have any products of my own. Its just a list of shop from high street and online. So instead of collecting huge data from different source, I have placed affiliate links.
In another word, Shopper are getting free service and I am making some money. What's wrong with this....?
By the way I'm not really hungry for click. However, I appreciate your comments. Seems you don't know anything about directory type website.
Can you point out please with a PM- where are the grammar mistake in my site? And if you are talking about grammar mistake in this thread- i will just ignore that.
Thank you anyway.

What happened to your other shopping directory?
Hi Emma,
Apologies for sounding negative about the site. Everyone's got to start somewhere.
I do understand the point of a shopping directory. Unfortunately, directories like this, in my opinion, aren't the way to go in this day and age. Sure they may have done well in 1995 but shoppers have gotten smarter since then. Nobody searches for shops these days, they search for products. You may get a few sales if you can get people onto the site though means other than serps though. I do agree that directories can work for local services such as people searching for "Manchester Accountants" or whatever, but not for shopping.
Again, all just opinion, I may be totally wrong, they may work brilliantly. As a shopper, I just can't see how though.
The site looks like you are thinking too much about money and not enough about providing quality content.I am not thinking about money at this stage
All I will say is that there are a lot of tables (I mean visually, not code)... try using background colours for some of them instead of borders.

How long have you been working on it ? says est. 2007, it seems to be going back in time.
The best area seems to be voucher codes, could you not just go with that and have done with it instead of different style for each area ?
