In google results as blog - good or bad?

Is it a bad thing to be considered a blog by google? I've got a site appearing in the "Blog posts about XXXX" at the bottom of a google page of results ...

Is it a blog? And, do you think the site would appear if it wasn't there in the blog results? I don't think it's bad

It is - but it also appears in normal results too. Wondered if it was a "downgrade" to be a blog in google's eyes ...

I think it's an upgrade, ie. it's fresh, recent and therefore a relevant result

I agree with scriptmonkey, its not done me any harm.Google loves fresh content as we know and im pretty sure they love blogs.
I wouldnt dream of building a site on anything other then wordpress.
