Promoting Hotels online? Any Ideas?

Im just about to launch a new portal site on behalf of a client for a local area where I live and I was wondering if there are Affiliate Schemes which get you to promote hotels/lodges/b&b and you get a comission of the sale of the room?

I found someone called active hotels offering:
Number of bookings
per month Commission payment (% of total room revenue)
1 - 49 3%
50 - 99 3.5%
> 100 4%

Anyone know of any other progs out there that you can promote hotels and get comission? cheers
