Hi all ,

Just been reading the latest on the 180 solutions thread and thought it a good time to make a post.

I wanted to publicy announce that we are fully aware of 180 solutions as an affiliate who currently uses our network.

As has been said they seem to be everywhere on all networks , but I cannot comment for any other networks just our own.

AF and POR have decided to remove 180 solutions based on their findings.

I cant comment for AF as I dont know how they approached the decision but I am sure Clarke wont mind me saying that POR looked into the 180 solutions matter extensively before making a decision.

We would ask affiliates for the same opportunity.

The thread on 180 brought it to our attention as a potential problem and now we must go through some processes beofore we reach our decision.

On the surface it may look like an easy one to you and it may well be when we have given it the proper time.

All affiliates deserve our time to investigate complaints so that our industry does not become a hotbed of knee jerk reactions to other peoples findings.

The evidence against 180 solutions does not look good and further weight has been added to that by the fact that AF and POR have investigated properly and found them wanting but that does not mean " Monkey see Monkey do for us "

We just wanted our affiliates to know that we are well aware of the problem in hand and are taking steps to come to a decision on it.

Great (my knees are very sore) :-)

When I see what I believe is inproper action then I try and get it sorted. Perhaps the process is not always great - I just hope the end result is the one that conforms to the terms and conditions that they agreed to on each individual network.

I didn't say "the right one" as that would pre-judge the uniqueness of each network's position and interpretation of their particular circumstance.

I'm going to have to go to confession as I'm becoming more of a Ludite everyday - for that I apologise - but I'm just thankful I've got ethics.

when we have all switched links to " certified scumwareFree" networks..

do the networks who couldn't/didn't/wouln't be ar$ed to publicly state their case and intentions, and do something about it, think that we are going to bother switching back ?

so come on ..

any other network got anything they would like to share here or what, buy.at have stated thier case...AF and POR have shown their colours...
