don't know what the general rule is but we'll be getting our new datafeed out the minute our prices changed, i think we'll be up late on the 22nd changing all the prices then sending the datafeed out on the morning of the 23rd along with banners.
When do the merchants start getting their sites and banners ready for the January sales? I think last year I did better after Xmas than pre - but maybe that's because I only really got the affiliate bug in mid-November.
Wishing everyone a wonderful Christmas and a very healthy (and wealthy) New Year.

Our sale will go live on the 23rd, with Christmas Creative being dynamically replaced with the Sale creative. We will also offer a version of our feed with sale and non-sale pricing.
Thanks

Just posting to bring this one back to the top (could we have it made sticky as it's relevant to us all)
Don't know about other people but I'm already building my pages for the January sales ready for uploading to the site late on Christmas Eve - so I can leave it unattended for Christmas Day and Boxing Day (well apart from logging in a couple of times to check all is well with the server etc).
Particularly for merchants with datafeeds, can you let us know when the datafeeds with your sale items will be available (and please don't make it Christmas Eve!)
Our sale feed will go out on the 23rd.
Thanks
Graham
