And some of those few that do have their url plastered on the creative...why do the networks allow this.
People just need to tell the merchants they would promote them more if they didn't have the URL splashed all over the banner, even in the case of the merchants who’s URL is actually the sites real/trading name. 99% would rather get on your site and get sales than worry if the URL is being branded about or not.
As has been said before, if you want branding pay for CPM if you want sales pay a decent rate on CPA.
