Yahoo seems to be showing non google results!

Are you sure, I've just done a search for the same word phrase on both and it's showing the same results

Why not post a link to a search where the results are different in yahoo and google?
It may not be showing for everyone which is why I'm not seeing any difference.

yahoo has always shown google results in a different order to google surely ???

Maybe it's just me but I don't see any difference in the results?!

the results on google.com at the moment are fluctuating depending on which datacenter it's pulling the results from, i imagine yahoo does the same with google results ?

Yahoo as far as I am aware has always had a different "feed" from Google.com. I think what happens is data is prepared in a machine for Yahoo and then this is shown with Yahoo's own filters in place. Remember months ago Yahoo used to give you a higher ranking in Yahoo.com if you had a entry in the database. Also I remember a time when Yahoo.co.uk used to only show Google results that ended with .uk however I don't keep up to date with what Yahoo is doing these days so it might have all changed now

They look like google to me ATM but I'm sure your not going mad Bottler - I have seen ink results on yahoo uk in the past few weeks so could be you just saw some testing being done?

There has been stuff on WMW about this for a while now.
Seems to be some people are able to see the INK results showing when most can't - something to do with cookies etc but definatly some testing going on.
