thanks jamamuk
planetdomain.com is looking like the best so far. anything i should be aware of, or are you generally happy with them?
www.resellerspanel.com looks fantastic but, despite being in the uk, they don't offer .co.uk domains and they can only charge customers in USD!
if there was something as good as that which did GBP and .co.uk i'd be very very happy.
Just looked at planetdomain.com - looks very good - think I will sign up as at my current rate of domain name acquisition I could save the setup fee in a couple of months just on my own domains![]()
I would be careful with Planetdomain - I have used them but the support was crap.
For me Enom have proved much better.
the support is far better now with them i have never had to contact them in the last year.
GoDaddy offer one but you'll have to try and find it from the main site, can't remember the name or URL.
http://www.godaddy.com
Id personally look at eNom with a DRAMS frontend.
I think that DRAMS is at www.drams.com but their site appears to be down at the moment.
DRAMS adds some great functionality that the generic eNom offerings lack.
If you look hard enough you can still get eNom $7.95 accounts as well.

you could try Wild West Domains (www.wildwestdomains.com) which is part of GoDaddy who are excellent.
I think you need to pay $99 to set up the account.

thanks Leslie but, unless i am missing something, WWD don't offer .co.uk (which i need). the help says they only do .com, .net, .org, .us, .biz, .info and .ws
so far planetdomain or enom seem the best but none look quite as good as resellersdomain - if only they did .co.uk domains! so annoying, esp as they are a london-based ltd company.
i'm still looking btw so if anyone else has any other recommendations, or comments on planetdomain or enom, please let me know.
thanks all.

Godaddy now does .uk domains, they are not cheap as other charging something like £6 a year and I think it is also on the wild west site is you look closely.
you could e-mail them to confirm as well...
yes, thanks leslie, i did find the co.uk's in the end (despite their help saying they didn't do it - needs updating!)
gone for enom in the end, just going through the api and scripts now.
anyone here setup an api-based enom site who wouldn't mind the answering odd question via PM ?
thanks again everyone for the help.
john
Just like what mentioned in the past post, I think resellerspanel offers co.uk domain no? Hmmmm
