Where is Mark ?
I am new at this game but truly enjoy reading the posts.
I always believe there is more to be learned more from what is not said than from what is revealed. On this forum Supercod is my role model - he is pure genuis ( in sincerity I do admire your style ).
In that vein we all enjoy the Mark & Lea handbag fights. But sit back and remember the reactions Mark creates.
Although I doubt I have ever agreed with more than 5% of what Mark says there is a great deal to be learnt from a newbie point of veiw just by reading the reactions to his post.
For the record - Mark I may not like your attitude/comments/opions but I do miss you - my learning curve is getting a little flat.

deleted for playing "miff the moderators"
when the mods have to follow someone around and check every single post that a specific member posts to ensure it doesn't cause offence to other members despite being warned about it before then I don't think that's in keeping with what this forums about...
so I reckon that's a fair enough action from matt and the mods
Some of mark's posts were very useful and some not so and some were just offensive to certain people.

To be honest I used to just skip Mark's posts.
So I don't miss him.

I think Mark's still about, as his name wasn't on the members list when he was still posting. He did make me laugh for being so rude/abrupt sometimes, but I can understand the mod's getting fed up with all the swearing. I can't stand people that swear in public - most of somerset is like that, it's a rural thing maybe?

I have a great solution to dealing with people like Mark... of course it's technically difficult.. but instead of banning how about limiting his posts to 3 a day. If he shows some common sense and is able to avoid circumlocution then he gets a promotion to 5 posts.
Right better get back to the other half before she throws a fit

I will miss his posts, some of them were very funny and I loved the exchanges between him and GetVisible. Can we not let him back in as Luke suggested or is this not possible.
I think its a shame to block someone, although it probably was because of his swearing and stirring!! Mark, if you read this, good luck mate!

I'm with Shane on this one.
It's NOT FAIR on the moderators to have to watch EVERY post to make sure it isn't going to cause offence or even liabelous. They have there own work to do!
Cheers

Personally wont miss him being around, and wont miss his comments which offended people. Agree, that occasionally (Im trying to think of an example, but struggling) he may have posted a helpful piece, but this board has MODS to moderate - not to act as security guards 24hrs a day.
He was warned, on many many many occasions, so its sad that he couldn't learn from his mistakes.
Finally, am sure he is lurking here still
wouldn't be the same Mark if he didnt try!

At the end of the day all the Mod's here including myself have businesses to run, and this forum is a voluntary pastime for us.
Its not fair on those volunteers to be wary and worrying about possibly lieblous comments being placed on the forum.
Its a shame, but after several warnings, membership was revoked last week.
I'm sure Mark is around here somewhere though - like to wish him well with his future projects.
Matt.

Matt, Frostie, Wardy, Shane,
I agree if someone is making the Mods life a pain with certain comments etc, then yeah, lets bin them, but he was helpful to me and I will miss his posts.

The fact that this forum has existed for what must be close to 3 years now and only 1 or 2 people have had their accounts switched off says it all really. Not bad going..
It's nice to be able to read a thread now without half of it littered with Mark's (usually) pointless waffling.
Still I hope he has more time now to make himself some real money and maybe reincarnate himself as a wiser and richer person in a couple of months.
