Opodo dirty tricks
Not impressed with Opodo's £15 "handling charge" levied right at the end of making a booking with them last night. As I was trying to join my brother on a particular flight at a particular time, I had to use an engine which let me select the airline, or book direct (with AA), who would not show the prices for the return leg (which I'm doing on my own).
I don't mind being charged £15 for a paper ticket, or a handling charge upfront if the airline isn't giving commission (I think they charge £5 each way for flybe), but this charge at the end of the booking was very underhand imho.
Now we were going to go down to London and meet with Opodo - their CEO was at least quite open to this. They still have a lot of very positive points, and I'm sure I'm not the only one who would like to develop a better working relationship with them.
Who else would be up for a meeting, let's say in the last week of March?
