    Hi All,

I've just taken a nice bung to produce something similar to our white label system for a property site.

If anyone would be interested in either taking an early look at this, or getting their hands on the system before it is released please let me know. Can certainly arrange this in exchange for feedback.

Demo of the jewellery version can be seen at http://www.jewellerysite.co.uk

    Hi,

Do you have any more info on the white label property site - sounds interesting.

    Cheers

Getting quite a few enquiries about this now. To make things easier I have set up a hidden topic on our new affiliate support forum about this.

If you would like to find out more and give your views on how it should be put together please register at http://affiliate.findjewellery.co.uk/forum/

Once registered, just PM me to tell me your ID and I will give you access to the property discussion.

    Ta'

The first draft of the White Label system has now been uploaded for testing.

There are a couple of features still missing (like affiliate links!!), but the system does demonstrate the content quite well.

A Demo of the administration / customisation systems is about a week away, and we are 2 to 3 weeks away from wanting to set a few of these up for you guys.

Don't want to put the URL on a public forum quite yet, but if anyone wants to take a look at where we are so far just reply here or PM me.

Happy to say that we are ahead of schedule on this, and are now starting to test it out on a few "guinea pigs".

    To Summarise:

Our system will automatically create a fully functioning Property Portal for you, populated with up to date details of Property for sale around the UK.

That's 582 live adverts as I type this (probably be more later). That means you will instantly have a property site with more properties on it than 90% of the "portals" out there (no lists of empty counties here!).

The system currently feeds enquiries into MyPropertyForSale, although customers will soon be able to add details directly from your site.

The Minimum commission you will earn from any sale is £8.85. The maximum is just shy of £31.00 and still offers excellent value to the customers.

An example of a "default" Beta installation can be seen at http://dev.ukpropertysite.co.uk . I will try to put up a few more demo sites shortly to show the incredible flexibility of the system.

[and finally to the point... ] I am looking for a few more guinea pigs to try the sytem out and give feedback. If you would like to give the system a try please PM me & I will get you set up.

    Hi Matt,

Is a 'sale' consdered someone filling in a lead form via that 'contact the seller of this property' button, or is it an actual sale of a house?

    Cheers,

    Chris

added: or is it the purchase of a 'sell your home' package for £59 (+extras depending on the package extras)?

    neither!

A sale is when someone places an ad of their own. Can't arrange 15-25% of the house sale price for you I am afraid!!

In theory you don't need any of the property details at all to make a sale, but buyers are also sellers and having houses for sale on the site is what gets people to advertise.

A couple of people have told me that they are having problems seeing the demo that I previously linked to. I suspect that this is due to some changes being made to the DNS.

The system is currently running in 2 places (near identical setups at the moment). Think that everyone should be able to see at least one of them:

Just got one of the guys I work with to have a play with the new system in order to get some feedback.

Took about 3 hours to go from
    this : http://dev.ukpropertysite.co.uk
    to : http://find.ukpropertysite.co.uk

I've just started on another demo myself, but this should give you some idea of the flexibility of the system.

Just realised that it looks like I am talking to myself in this thread. I am getting replies by PM honest!

OK, last post for the day for me (I can hear the pub calling).

Another demo of the property system is now live. http://www.h4houses.co.uk

This one is a bit different again, so hopefully the 3 demos will give everyone some idea of what can be done with it.

I now have my 8 guinea pigs, but things seem to be going smoothly so far so am happy to take on a few more if anyone has a few hours to spare to set up a new property portal. Seems to be taking 2 to 3 hours for a full custom job at the moment.

A few questions, which might benefit others so I'll post them here...

    A) Can it run entirely on a remote system, or does it get installed as a subdomain on your server, which the white labeler simply points their domain at? If it runs on the remote system, what are the system requirements?

    B) Does the white labeler have to be ecommerce-enabled? If so, what exactly are the requirements?

    C) Does a property added on one white label site (or on your main site) automatically show up on all the other sites as well (like a lot of white label dating sites do with their profiles to make the sites look busier)?
MemorableDomains.co.uk - Over 5,000 generic .co.uk domain names for sale

Hi Edwin & thanks for the reply.

    In answer to your questions....

    A) Can it run entirely on a remote system, or does it get installed as a subdomain on your server, which the white labeler simply points their domain at? If it runs on the remote system, what are the system requirements?
Because the data would otherwise need refreshing daily (and is pretty hefty), the decision was made to run the system entirely on our servers. We can set this up to either run as a subdomain of one of our names (full list on it's way), as a subdomain of your name (assuming that you can make the required DNS changes) or on a domain of it's own.

    B) Does the white labeler have to be ecommerce-enabled? If so, what exactly are the requirements?
Not at all. Currently all sales are handled by the parent site. This will soon be changed so that non-branded pages are used for the actual sale as well. Either way, affiliates just need to concentrate on the marketing and the merchant will handle the commercial side of things.

    C) Does a property added on one white label site (or on your main site) automatically show up on all the other sites as well (like a lot of white label dating sites do with their profiles to make the sites look busier)?
Absolutely, yes. As soon as you site starts up it will have close to 600 properties on it, which is the merchants current stock. That is instantly more properties than the vast majority of private sale sites out there so there is no risk of having an empty site. The affiliate sites and the merchant site effectively work as a network with everyone trying to add new properties to the same pool. Each new advert added benefits the referring affiliate by lining their pockets, but benefits all affiliates by adding to the content of their site.

Whilst I am posting, here is an update of the demo links (I have been moving a few around):

    Default Installation:
    http://dev.ukpropertysite.co.uk

    Modified Versions:
    http://find.ukpropertysite.co.uk
    http://www.h4houses.co.uk
    http://www.iown.co.uk

There are a few more affiliate built ones as well now, but I will have to check with the affiliates before posting the URLs.
