just getting the news - what ya'll think?

I'd expect them to remove the "adsense" stuff with their own offering?

Who would have thought they worth so much?

Amazing given Yahoo's alleged dislike of affiliate sites.
I wonder if their Google positions will stay so predominant now!!
(And also if they will get a boost in the Yahoo based rankings)

Maybe that has partially helped already with their PR9

Presumably it's part of a plan so that they can compete with Froogle

Amazed that Kelkoo was worth that much though - hope a good number of the employees are shareholders

Link building to get Google to list its site better maybe (also known as search engine spamming if affiliates do it)

I also wonder with Yahoo buying Kelkoo, Kelkoo will keep it's link on this page,

    http://www.google.com/services/sponsored_links.html

The only reason why it ranks well in Google. Wonder how much a pr10 link on Google costs. Yahoo say about £250 million. Wonder how quick that money could be wiped out, because the Kelkoo technology isn't worth 1 million let alone 250
