Isn't the US govt looking at stopping porn online too?
Looks as though there’s been a bit of a shift in the “Online Casino Industry”.
"Google and Yahoo!, two of the biggest Internet search engines, will no longer take ads for online gambling companies, dealing a large blow to the industry."

It’ll be interesting to see how this one pans out and whether this crosses over to other sectors in due time?!?!?!
Until then, Finance is always a safe and profitable “bet”!
Cheers

I understand that this will apply to casinos and betting, including sports betting.
Whilst Overture will only be stopping this in the US market, Google will be doing it worldwide as they have been doing already in Germany.
To come into effect by the end of April.
None too impressedwhy Google won't geo-target it I don't know

Isn't there a couple of "rights issues" here;-
Google cannot advertise ( adwords etc) but a request for a search is not an adv. Surely the surfer is having something taken away from him/her if the results displayed are censored.
just a thought - FWIW
very similar to the pharmaceutical industry BAN, they stopped the ads, so SEOs started running their own PPC system from natural/organic results
better get calling those SEOs, and for sure, it wont be $20 a click
Shak
