    Topic says it all really

Whats the best alternative for budget travel, needs to have a nationwide presence.

Was pushing more than £500k/month in sales to Travelodge, who wants it? I'll need some sort of exclusive code or discount to sweeten the deal from the users point of view, make sure they convert.

    thanks.

    Hi,

We currently manage the affiliate programmes for Britannia Hotels (Affiliate Window #2225) and Pontins (Affiliate Window #2918).

Britannia has 36 hotels nationwide and currently offers a fixed 5% commission. Pontins has five parks, and commissions are tiered at 6-8%.

Please drop us a line at britanniaaffiliates@latitudegroup.com if you'd like to discuss further.

    Thanks,

    Craig

    Hi there,

I agree that Britannia Hotels and Pointins are very good options as well as Laterooms. I would only add to this Premier Inn. Both of those programs are available at buy.at. To find out more about Laterooms and sign up click here: Laterooms.com Affiliate Programme | buy.at Affiliate Network. To join Premier Inn go here: Premier Inn Affiliate Programme | buy.at Affiliate Network

If you need anything else or have questions about any travel merchants available at both buy.at and Affiliate Window network, just give me a shout,

    Thanks!

    Hi JohnnyCash,

We have recently launched the Octopus Travel program on Webgains, which has over 90,000 hotels. They have hotels for all regions of the UK and the top destinations in the UK are London, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Glasgow, York and Manchester. We have a comprehensive datafeed available for affiliates, plus the usual banners, text creative etc. An api and search widgets will be available shortly. They are paying 6% commission per sale. You can check the other program details here - http://www.webgains.com/signup.html?programid=5380 or feel free to contact me directly. Thanks,

Didn't this happen before? Shows the lack of respect they have for their affiliates.

Anyone from TL here on the forum who can give some more details on what they exactly plan to do with their aff program?

Yeah it happened before. They cut the commission to 1% recently, now lowered it again to 0%...

I really wish other webmasters would vote with their feet, as continuing to promote a merchant for free is not the way to get them to increase it again...

I think that ebookers have a lot of the travelodge hotels...

Hey JohnnyCash, sorry I'm a late comer to this thread but you may wish to consider Sykes Cottages as something slightly different. We have 2,500 properties around the UK and Ireland. True we are not a hotel chain offering one night stays but we do have short breaks available in all key areas.

    Just a thought!

Here is where to find out more about Sykes Cottages - https://www.affiliatewindow.com/sign...?merchant=3317

    Good luck.

    Hi JohnnyCash,

When Travelodge first made this change back in May 2010 we published a blog post about it at Travelodge UK Affiliate Program

sletoH has 250 Travelodge hotels in the UK and we find availability through merchants including ebookers, Superbreak, Laterooms, HotelPronto, Booking.com. One link to sletoH will search all of these companies and find rates if they are available. If the Travelodge is not available, sletoH.com shows nearby alternative hotels. List of 250 UK Travelodges paying commission:
Search results for 'travelodge' in UK

ALSO, give us your affiliate network IDs and we will pay commission straight into your network accounts. More info at Earn 80% Commission on Hotel Bookings

Im not pushing as much traffic as JC does but why would anyone become a sletoH affiliate? Just the name sounds like a joke and I honestly had to look 3 times at your initial post thinking it was a joke.

I think in a situation like this the only way to make a bit of money would be to remove all Travelodge links and add PPC or add a merchant which is very simmilar to Travelodge and in my view that would be either Laterooms, Premier inn, Hotels.com, Booking.com but not a merchant with hotels.com the other way around.

If we as affiliates already think its a joke, what would customers think.

If the name "sletoH" is thought of as a silly joke that is holding back affiliates from working with us then I am happy to hear this from more than Sevenhills... RSVP!
