2p a word, pretty much any topic.

    UK graduate level English.

    PM to see samples!

    Thanks

    2p per word = £10 for 500 words.

[Sell Service] UK Native Web Content Writer - £6/500words

    [Service] £6 per 500 words

It'd be difficult to compete against these 2 popular offerings.

I wouldn't worry about trying to compete with those prices, £10 for 500 words is still good value if your work is good enough and actually very cheap if you break it down as an hourly rate. The other two services mentioned both do great work for people by all accounts (I've used one of them too), but don't try and match their prices just for the sake of it, their circumstances are likely different to yours.

There's enough demand for content to get work without having to compete with each other on prices alone. I'm a content writer myself but couldn't work for the £6 per 500 words that's mentioned, I charge higher rates but still get work out of people on here and from elsewhere. The £6 per 500 mentioned above is great value for the quality but it doesn't mean you have to charge the same.

Agree with you there on most points. I'm pretty sure that I've dealt with you, haven't I ?

The reason why I'm charging £6 per 500 words is because I'm in college, it gives me some money on the side and so on. On the quality side, I honestly think that my work is worth more than £6 per 500 words but at £6 I'm happy enough so I'll keep it that way For the moment anyway.

Do you charge the same price for the word "I" as you do for "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" ? :P

I've seen examples of outsourced content and to say it's at level 2 standard would be very generous. I've seen ESOL students produce better work!

Not saying that the lower quality stuff ain't worth anything, it's worth its weight in gold spinning articles and stuff, but on your money pages you want someone good don't ya!
Nearly all outsourced content is absolutely terrible in my opinion. 99% of the people that you're dealing with don't care about the quality at all. Obviously there are a few decent writers but you'll have a hard time finding them unless you're paying a decent amount of money.

Personally, I don't think there's any need to pay £10 per 500 words for your money site, I think my content is more than good enough for most peoples money sites and it's nearly half the price.

I agree with this too, if you advertise elsewhere then your bound to get someone want your articles. You'll always get people charging less and more than you, but at the end of the day you can only charge what you feel your work is worth. Why not offer some discounted rates for a bit to get some custom then ask for feedback from them, then go back to your desired rates?
