Are Clook Down? this morning

Hi

Can anyone who uses Clook UK hosting check if their sites are up this morning. Nothing working for us not even clook support. I know they had maintenance scheduled last night.

They are definitely down. My sites are too.

Has anyone got the number for support? Their billing/sales one doesn't seem to be up today either.

Phones are down too. They are aware of it only info I can get is from https://twitter.com/#!/clookinternet

Didn't realise they had twitter - good job something is up and running! Had a few problems like this recently after 2 years of hardly anything! Unfortunately it means I might have to at least explore other options now.

Yes, the Clook servers are down. All their own websites are down and their phone number is dead too Been like this for quite a while now this morning...

Yes down since about 1am. Major network issue. Occasional updates on twitter & a lot of unhappy customers - like me!

I read on Twitter somewhere that the phone number may be dead because it's VOIP-based with no conventional backup.

Back now but a major outage

It seems they had issues with their Name Servers (dns) which seemed to take everything else down. Sites with non-clook DNS were fine. Seems strange that their off-site notification sites were also taken out.

As others have said you go years without outages with Clook then they've had a few major ones in the past 2 months.
