    Hi,

Only ever earned through AW so far in my Affiliate travels. AW obviously use the red/amber/green system to class payment status of Merchants. I have learnt this the hard way and have only just been paid nearly £100 that was pending for in excess of 6-7 months...quite obvioulsy I don't want this happening again after all my hard work!!

I am looking to join a couple of new Networks, Do all Networks give me access to the Merchant's Payment Status in a simular fashion so I can decide who's worth my time partnering with???

    Thanks ;-) Steve

Not always in as clear a way as AWin. Some networks have prepay merchants so you know you should get paid on time. Other than that you can always email and ask about any merchants you're interested in. Some merchants pay by direct debit on x date in the month rather than invoice so that might give you some extra assurance.

    Hi Steve,

It really depends on the Network the best way to find out is to either ask the network direct what their payment terms are or check their Terms and Conditions etc.

I personally think the AW system can be a little confusing to most affiliates

At Monetise, we have our own system..

Basically, we offer a 100% guarantee that affiliates are always paid, and always paid on time, regardless of the status of payment from our advertisers.

    Simple eh?

Hmmm really?! That sounds inviting...I was looking at joining Monetise as one of the other Networks I've been looking at. May well join up today to keep my options open.

    Cheers, Steve

Monetise are a great network that I have worked closely with in the past and still do.

We also operate on a similar basis to Monetise I was just trying a more subtle spam than Dave
