Quick 301 redirects question

So I want Supplement Voucher Codes 2012 | Gym Equipment Voucher Codes | Gym Workouts and all my pages and wordpress blogs (tcworkouts.com/blog/.......) to redirect to fitnesscoupons.co.uk / fitnesscoupons.co.uk.....).

Do I need to get a new hosting account, copy and paste all my files into that new hosting account and just remove my current one? That's what someone is telling me but I thought all this could just be set up in my current hosting platform with a bit of code in the .htaccess file?

Standard way would be to do the redirect in the htaccess on your old hosting and leave it there - deleting all other files and databases(assuming you have copied those over).

It's the same whether you stay with the current host or move to another one.

Don't do anything until you are sure what you are doing and that all your old pages will definitely redirect to the new. Your new domain will be treated as a new domain regardless of what you do and any small mistakes that would be overlooked with an established domain will not be overlooked on your new domain - I speak with bitter experience ):

I'm completely clueless with all the technicalities of this 301 redirecting, can you help?

A year ago I bought a hosting package, set up tcworkouts and it is currently running as tcworkouts . com and therefore all pages are like tcworkouts . com/folder/file and my wordpress blog is included in the root directory so tcworkouts . com/blog/file

I have bought the url fitnesscoupons.co.uk so I want all my pages to redirect to that url.

I have got someone from a site to do the redirects for me and he is telling me to do this I need to buy a new hosting package and copy and paste all my files into this new hosting package. Is this what I need to do? If so, what do I do with my current tcworkouts hosting? do I need to be paying for 2 hosting packages?

Thank you! Looks like I need to buy another hosting account then and pay for 2 running because my hosting doesn't allow add on domains.

One further complicated issue is that I have all my Wordpress files on my root server too in a folder called 'Blog'.

According to the guy I wanted to do this I need to look at this link and it looks pretty complicated?
