Hot weather Killed sales

In the last couple of days my modest sales figures have become a trickle.
I hope it is the hot weather, nice weekend and very hot today.
I think I need to diversify into fans, cold drinks and swimming pools.

Silly question but do sales of these and similar summer items drop on hot days as people enjoy the sunshine? Or do they really pick up as people are at work feeling HOT.

Sunshine does affect sales I think... when its just so hot people will sit outside rather than playing with their pcs.
With CJ I've noticed a pattern - it either is working for everything or just ebay at the moment. Its pretty shambolic really and I suspect its giving me the incentive to continue to move stuff away from there... Oh its hard work changing links.

been trying to analyse if a drop in traffic/sales etc was to do with the weekend, update on 31st may or other factors.

Needing to get the fan out of the cuboard reminded me that people at work will go out for lunch and in the evening people will go to the pub or sit in the garden.

Anyone know any rain dances?

Weekend quietest for ages, same with Monday.

gotta plan:

we don balaclavas and tonight from 2AM we go round and bolt up everyone's houses and cut the power supply to TV and radio stations. EVeryone will have to stay in and surf the net.

Extra kick in the teeth is the fact one site has just exceeded its bandwidth allownace, so it will be down for a day or two and I cannot get hold of the other main site.

Phew, it's hot. AND, phew, I'm glad I saw this post.

Was getting a bit despondent when my googleads voucher ran out and am now having to rely on "other methods" of drawing in traffic. Had about 50 hits across various sites at the weekend with absolutely nil sales, but if I can get 50 when others are dropping then maybe I am still travelling in the right direction.

Good news (never thought I'd ever say this!), it's supposed to cool down towards the weekend. In fact, we have had some lovely rain up here this lunchtime, so people staying at there desks at lunchtime.

Roll on winter!

Having just got back from clearing out two minibus loads of rubbish from my mum's garage I couldn't wait to sit in a comfy chair in my cool office and check stats.
Sales down but not too bad considering the lovely weather.

Never fear. I can almost guarantee that the weather will change for the weekend.

I am supposed to be going camping. This never fails to bring on the rain (might even hire myself out to farmers next drought!).

This month so far has been terrible for me.....last 2 months were really good though

I'm sure its the weather but the strange thing is i'm getting the same amount of hits a day and, yesterday in particular sent over a bigger %age of UV's to merchants but the CR is way down.

I usually work on between 5% and 7% CR and the last few days has been 1% - 3%!!

Never mind Franciais (sp?) on Sky says its gonna rain a bit tommorrow.

We're off camping this weekend as well, which means rain......

We may go to Wales and climb a mountain or an hour down the road and relax!!
