I look after the CarCreditUK affiliate programme and would like to know how I can improve the programme to make it more attractive to affiliates.

We pay £30 per valid lead and in comparison to other companies of the same nature I think this is quite good.

Obviously commission does have a big bearing on the attractivness of a programme, but what else is there that all the top affiliates out there want?

Please let me know your thoughts.

    Hi Stuart,

Actually the EPC the most important thing for me. So for instance Dial4aloan pay more than Goldfish per lead but I make more from Goldfish as they convert better. As a consequence I promote them harder.

Are there some USPs or just genuine positives that could result in a consumer chosing CarCreditUK over the competition?

I do promote you but havent had loads of success yet so this info would be quite helpful

    thanks

Also, though hopefully one of the bigger loans affiliates will post, I think some of them like an interactive form, one that sits on their site and sends the lead from there.

When sales are rejected, you send an email to the affiliate giving a reason why you rejected it.

    Hi Luke,

We try and make CarCreditUK more appealing by offering both affiliate and consumer promotions.

As i've mentioned we have an incentive for affiliates where if they create more sales than any other affiliate from 8th April to the 30th June then we will take them to Silverstone to see the british Grand Prix. We hoped that this would give motivation to affiliates to want to promote the programme.

As for consumers, we currently offer a free DVD player when they take one of our cars for a test drive, a free credit check and £350 cashback on purchases.

Also the USP is that CarCreditUK can help almost anyone, regardless of their credit history. CCJ's, defaults and arrears are not a problem.

I also feel that our conversion rate is good too. For a lead to be validated our call cennre will call them, and all the have to do is express an interest in CarCreditUK and confirm that they did actually make the application. It doesn't matter if the lead converts to a sale or not.

Validations will also be dealt with within a week. Sometimes it can be done within 24-48 hours but usually within a week due to the fact we need to obtain feedback from our call centre.

Thanks also for the other comment regarding emailing affiliates when sales are deleted. I will take this on board and try to keep affiliates informed of all deleted transactions.

    Hi Again.

Sorry, I did forget to mention that we do have a form designed to just sit on your site and send applications through. We are currently putting the finishing touches to the tracking on that iFrame.

If you know anyone who would be interested in using it please let me know.
