I'd just like to confirm that OMG are promoting A&L loans. Cheers for putting in the good word for us guys!!

Please get in touch as we'll be more than happy to discuss long term A&L strategies with you and have a deeper discussion for a complete solution for marketing Alliance & Leicester, such as current account and mortgages.

    Please contact either:

They'll be able to get you on the campaign and provide you an over all brief on A&L and get you started!

I wouldn't bother promoting them at all. OMG - Takes about eight weeks to get any results, closed keyword policy, product itself is only just marketable, why bother.

a4uforummember do you have a grievance agianst omg or what, I am very interested . You seem to be very sure and also negative. Excuse me for being a little green but I am trying to gain trust in my potential customers and I at the moment only have loan brokers not individual companies most which I myself have never heard of until I published them. If people are going to apply for a loan are'nt they going to go for a recognised name that omg might promote or are you just upset about omg not paying out on time.

I think all I know is that as an affiliate U can promote anything, snow to the eskimos and all that. and as long as the end result is a competitive product, people will sign up. Lets not try and kid people/con people and get them to sign up with the merchant that pays the highest commission for us. The buying public is the lab rat, if they eat well that is our indication of whether or not a product is good to go.

Networks that get massive clients like A and L and virgin, and then continue to feck about with monthly stats for affiliates is in no ones interest, you will spend a month feeding ****e to the masses, for nothing. The public is the barometer and therefore if you can get instant barometric results you'll spend every day in the sunshine.

I dont know if this is just a Yorkshire term but I feel you are blagging my head. I thought this forum is about real suggestions, not fuzzy idealistic nonsence. I am still interested but as an educated yorkshire man, I would prefer a straight no nonsence responce. Again you seem to be experienced enough to be so negative or what ever so whats up (duck).

omg not paying out on time
Think you'll find OMG pay when paid... this does work both ways so you'll get paid early when they do and paid "late" when they don't get paid in a timely fashion off of merchants.

tis the same as some other networks cept they usally sit on payments till the normal pay out date if a normal cut off date has passed.

Yes OMG are slow at paying but as Shane says they pay when they are paid - part of the problem with finance products in general is that the time from initial application to loan completion (particularly for mortgages / remortgages and secured loans) can be quite long (often weeks and occassionally months).

That said OMG are a very friendly bunch of people, their commission rates are very high, and when they make a mistake they fall over themselves to put things right.
