After getting a pop up after signing up to Greasy Palm back in March (ish) i never downloaded the rebate software, (I deffo clicked NO)

It now appears on my machine has this happened to anyone else,

I was going to use GreasyPalm to collect the Cash I earn for local Community Groups but thought They take a Cut leaving me less for Local Groups, so am using the website to earn it.

I have deleted it now but I know for a fact I clicked NO to Download it.

DOes it load itself ??

I would be very surprised if this was the case. Neil Durrant who runs Greasy Palm took a lot of time and effort to ensure the rebate catcher was user friendly and didn't interfere with other affiliate commissions. I would suggest sending him a PM to clarify the situation.

I have spoke to Neil.


I was in around March going to use Greasy Palm to make money for the Groups, but this would only be me rasing the money. So I used the TD programme. I no I never downloaded the Rebate Catcher and have only logged into the Website Twice.

I changed my mind about GP as if the adverts are on my website anyone who using them earms the cash for the Community.

I think I am sorted now but he said to me After deleting the Software. DO NOT LOG back in the Greasy Palm website.

So does it plant a cookie which helps download the software.

In this day and age you never know.

Right.

Since deleting the software from me PC its now having problems


Each folder is opening in its own window, i checked the settings there are correct to use same windows as i want. but this is not the case


Also, I open My Computer and a IE screen comes up, I try to open IE and My Computer comes up.


This has happened after i deleted Rebate Catcher




PLEASE ANY HELP, as i do not wanna lose years of hard work

Its sorted itself out.


I dunno what the hell is going on here but its all working now.


Just seems abit funny after deleting software me PC throws one.
