Are some Affiliate Networks better than others?

Hi,

I am looking into affiliate marketing and found that, for general UK shopping, the merchants are spread over many of the UK Affiliate Networks.

My questions are:

1. Are the "terms and conditions", earnings etc more or less simliar for these networks?

2. Or if there are a few networks that stand out - for scope or quality - does anyone have any recommendations as to which I should sign up with first?
I am looking for general UK shopping merchants, from credit-cards to sporting goods!

How do I find the better merchants that have a good conversion record? Thanks for any advice.

Hi,

You will find that all of the network have there + and - and it depends on what you are after AffiliateFuture.co.uk (so you know that who I work for) are the fastest at paying affiliates.

you will also see that there are affiliates networks that use scum ware and sum that don't the best bet is to find the merchants you won't to use and use them even if that means using more than one net work.

Also customer services is a lot better on some network as well try looking around and seeing who works best with your plans.

I would recommend AffiliateFuture.co.uk but I'm byest

I think that 1/2 hour reading this forum, you will get a really good idea which networks are good and which are bad.

There is also the fact that some specialise in Finance and others in retail etc.

Commisisons also vary accross networks for the same products. But you can always ask here......someone will know!!

Rufus, you made some interesting observations.

You also managed to include eight spelling errors in four short paragraphs. I won't comment on the lax grammar. This does not inspire confidence in your readers.

I assume you are a senior member of staff at AF. Your otherwise good points could be more apposite if a little more attention had been paid to accurate presentation.

No offence intended. I'm just an old grumpy and pedantic ex-editor.

P.S. I'm also a newbie (tyro, neophyte) to affiliate marketing, so I do appreciate the excellent posts from experienced affiliates, network organisations and merchants. Please keep up the good work.

Yeah ... but isn't he famous for his maths, not his literature?

I'm with Macme - I hate misspellings too ... but undoubtedly we're BIASED!
